Product Delivery Principal – Financial Services

Location: New York, NY or Remote

As a Product Delivery Principal you will lead meetings and workshops with clients, participate in the scoping and design phase of the product, organize activities of diverse internal teams of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Developers, Sales Executives, Domain Experts, and manage projects from initial concept to completion, taking complete ownership of the entire Product Delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the successful delivery of our Prediction Products to financial services companies across the world (including Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 banks and insurance companies)
  • Responsible for identification of the most important client problems and definition of use-cases by analyzing the feedback and needs of customers and prospects to shape our offering 
  • Responsible for creating key presentations to customers (e.g. proposals, status meetings, delivery deck)
  • Responsible for creating and giving Product Demos and Trainings
  • Responsible for deriving key insights from client and alternative datasets
  • Responsible for keeping good relationships and engagement with customers by assertive communication, high-quality delivery, and excellent working attitude
  • Responsible to drive and motivate a diverse group of people (Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Data and Software Engineers)

Skill Requirements:

  • 3-5 years in a top tier management consulting firm, with a main focus on the Financial Services sector and on delivering digital solutions
  • 2+ years of additional experience working in the financial services industry is a plus
  • Portfolio of 5-10 successful projects in Financial Services with proven personal impact in leveraging Data Analytics for solving business challenges
  • Proven experience leading technical teams of Data Scientists and Data Engineers
  • Expert presentation skills and proven ability to synthesize complex technical concepts to senior business leaders
  • Expert analytical skills with experience driving problem-solving sessions, structuring research questions and formulating hypothesis
  • In-depth understanding and experience in at least one of the following areas: credit risk modeling, asset-liability management, marketing or pricing optimization
  • Expert knowledge of PowerPoint (including Think Cell) and MS Excel
  • Working knowledge of SQL and at least one visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
  • Some knowledge of Python or R
  • High comfort with ambiguity and the ability to thrive in a highly entrepreneurial start-up environment
