WorldQuant Predictive has developed approaches to making predictions at scale based on established philosophies that have been tested and proven for many years in quantitative finance. Many of these methods were successfully pioneered by Igor Tulchinsky, Founder, Chairman and CEO of WorldQuant Asset Management, and Founder of WorldQuant Predictive. Our team utilizes similar approaches to solve for predictive challenges that exist today across a range of industries.

The WorldQuant Predictive team is a diverse group of specialists in retail, financial services, and healthcare, working alongside experts in technology, data science, mathematics, machine learning and AI.





Igor Tulchinsky
Founder
New York
Igor Tulchinsky is Founder, Chairman and CEO of WorldQuant, a global quantitative asset management firm with over $7 billion in assets under management and more than 27 offices in 17 countries. Prior to founding WorldQuant in 2007, Tulchinsky spent 12 years as a statistical arbitrage portfolio manager at Millennium Management. Igor is the Founder of WorldQuant University, a not-for-profit organization that offers an instructor-guided, tuition-free MSc program in Financial Engineering, and is committed to making higher-quality education more accessible worldwide. He also founded WorldQuant Ventures, a private investment vehicle focused on disruptive companies in technology. Tulchinsky previously worked as a venture capitalist, scientist at AT&T Bell Laboratories, video game programmer and author.
He holds an M.A. in computer science from the University of Texas, completed in a record nine months, and an MBA in finance and entrepreneurship from the Wharton
School.

Bill Doyle
CEO
Bill is an enterprise technology executive with 25+ years of experience at early, later stage and public companies overseeing domestic and international business units with a focus on the Advanced Analytics market. Bill most recently served as Vice President, Decision Management Solutions Group, where he was responsible for driving sales execution and customer success of the FICO Decision Management Solutions portfolio, a high growth recurring revenue SaaS business, enabling customers to deploy and to scale decision management and advanced analytics based solutions. Previously, Bill has served in domestic and international executive positions at RapidMiner (CRO), TIBCO Spotfire (RVP Asia & Latin America), Netezza and MicroStrategy each representing various components of the Advanced Analytics market spectrum. Bill received his B.S. in Computer Science from Penn State University.

Thiam H. Lee, Ph.D.
Chief Data Science Officer
Dr. Thiam Lee is the Chief Data Science Officer for WorldQuant Predictive. His work at WQP draws on his background in operations research, machine learning, and quantitative finance. Prior to joining the WQP team, Dr. Lee worked as a Portfolio Manager at WorldQuant Asset Management and was Principal Data Scientist for Bonobos.
He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of California, Berkley and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Columbia University.

David Wiesenfeld
Director of Operations
David Wiesenfeld joined WorldQuant Predictive as Chief of Staff in July 2018 and now serves as Director of Operations. He supports the CEO and works with the management team to define company strategy. Prior to that, he worked in venture capital and at a number of high-growth, early-stage startups.
Wiesenfeld received his degree in Business from Cornell University. He is an avid chess and squash player.

Miklos Radnai
Director of Predictive and AI Solutions
Miklos Radnai is the Director of Predictive and AI Solutions where he helps organizations in the industry deploy machine learning solutions across credit decisioning, credit default monitoring, marketing, and pricing. Miklos has more than 13 years of experience in financial services, consulting, and data science. Prior to joining WQP, Miklos worked at McKinsey & Company for nine years, was the Head of Strategy at Codecool. He has had his own consultancy serving clients across a variety of data science and corporate finance areas. Miklos holds a Mathematics MA and a Finance MPhil from the University of Cambridge, and an MA in Economics from the Central European University.

Eugene Kosoy
Director of Engineering
Eugene Kosoy is a seasoned Digital Transformation leader with a proven track record of excellence in Software Delivery, Program and Project Management of Decision Support, Analytics and Workflow platforms on modern technology stack and public cloud. He possesses extensive experience in leading and mentoring cross-functional engineering teams through adoption of Agile SDLC practices and robust software development processes in large enterprises as well as startups.
Eugene received both undergraduate degrees in Information Technology and MBA from Stern School of Business at New York University. He holds a number of certifications from AWS, Scrum and SAFe.

Viktor Tisza
Lead Data Scientist
Viktor Tisza joined the WorldQuant Predictive team in January 2020 as Lead Data Scientist. Prior to that, he worked for major multinational companies in the insurance and retail industries conducting various machine learning projects across Europe. He is passionate about finding meaningful machine learning and analytical solutions to tackle challenging business problems. Viktor received his degree from Corvinus University of Budapest.

Sadrach Pierre, Ph.D.
Data Scientist
Sadrach Pierre is a quantitative researcher at WorldQuant Predictive where he builds predictive tools for clients in the retail industry. He worked as a data scientist for Solidus Labs where he developed algorithms used to detect manipulation and fraud within cryptocurrency markets. His interests include statistics, machine learning, software programming, and physics.
Dr. Pierre received his B.S. in Inorganic Chemistry from Brandeis University and his Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from Cornell University in 2018.

Alyssa Konstantino
Operations Manager
Alyssa Konstantino is Operations Manager for WorldQuant Predictive. She aids the CEO and the WQP team with organizing, streamlining, and assisting with projects and day-to-day operations. Konstantino ensures that the company culture is exceeding expectations by planning events and maintaining a forward-thinking atmosphere.
She received her Bachelor’s degree in Education with a minor in Psychology from Curry College.

Ivan Bondarenko
Data Technology Lead
With more than 10 years of experience as a professional engineer, Ivan Bondarenko joined WorldQuant Predictive in April 2020. He has successfully delivered and supported large scale processing engines, data collection, storage, and visualization platforms and tools. His mission is to make data actionable and accessible. Ivan received his B.S. in Aerospace, Electromechanics Engineering and his M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Dnipropetrovs’kij Nacional’nij Universitet.

Satyajit Dastidar
Head of Solution Development
New York
Based out of our New York office, Satyajit Dastidar has over 10 years of experience in strategy consulting and applied data sciences at McKinsey & Company, PwC Advisory and American Express. He specializes in applying machine learning and quantitative methods to optimize marketing and sales strategies across industries. Satyajit holds an MBA from Emory University, Atlanta, as well as a Masters in Economics with specialization in Applied Econometrics.

Rebecca Mathew
Director of Customer Success
Rebecca Mathew is the Director of Customer Success at WorldQuant Predictive. She brings with her 15 years of consulting & software implementation experience at retailers and consumer goods companies across the globe. She is passionate about helping clients get the most out of their data and analytical tools. Prior to joining WorldQuant Predictive, Rebecca has served clients in retail and CPG at McKinsey & Company, JDA Software (now Blue Yonder), and Symphony Services. Rebecca received her degree from India Gandhi National Open University and Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.

Istvan Ladjanszki
Product Manager
István Ladjánszki joined WorldQuant Predictive in January 2021. He is highly experienced in quantum computing, machine learning, and classical high-performance computing. Before joining WQP István worked at the BrianQC Project as Chief Scientist/Head of Research. He earned his degree in Theoretical Physics from Budapest University of Technology and Economics and an MSc in Quantitative Finance from the Corvinus University of Budapest. István also has an academic research background as one of the first developers of the Quantum Chemistry program package MRCC. Outside of work, István pursues his interests in the philosophy of science and epistemology in machine learning.

Andrea Boros
Office Manager
Andrea joins WorldQuant Predictive with almost 10 years of experience in office management in different industries, including several startup companies. In 2018 Andrea founded Office Managers’ Group (OMG) in Budapest to create a supportive and creative outlet for administrative workers to come together.
Andrea received her BA in English and American studies at the College of Nyíregyháza. Her favorite activities during her spare time are wall and rock climbing.

Nicholas Hoell, Ph.D
Lead Machine Learning Engineer
Nicholas Hoell is a Lead Machine Learning Engineer for WorldQuant Predictive. Nicholas was a manager at a multinational technical consulting firm where he held leadership roles on machine learning projects in retail, finance, and healthcare sectors and was an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at University of Toronto.
Nicholas holds an undergraduate degree in mathematics from University of California, Berkeley and a doctorate in applied mathematics from Columbia University, NY. In addition to mathematics and technology, he is a lifelong musician, avid crossword solver, voracious reader and enjoys chess.

Tatiana Avaeva
Senior UX/UI Designer
Tatiana Avaeva joined WorldQuant Predictive as Senior UX/UI Designer in September 2021. She has 7 years of experience working as UXUI / Visual Designer. Her point of interest is computer-human interaction and visualization. She got her certificate in Desktop Publishing from PLATT college, Newport Beach, CA. She also has 10+ years of experience working in marketing. Tatiana received her B.A. in Fashion Design from Moscow University of Apparel Industry.

Olivér Doktor
GRN Manager
Olivér Doktor Joined WorldQuant Predictive in August 2021 as their Global Research Network Manager. He is experienced in Finance, Econometrics and Project Management. Prior to joining WQP Oliver worked at Morgan Stanley as a Market Risk Analyst and lead the design and implementation of in-house analytical systems for upcoming Fundamental Review of Trading Book. His main focus is to develop, scale and operate the GRN to achieve its full potential. Olivér earned his Bachelor degree as an Economic analyst at Eötvös Lóránd university and a Masters from Corvinus University.

Alex Tsirel
Senior Software Engineer
With more than 15 years of experience as a professional software engineer/team lead, Alex Tsirel joined WorldQuant Predictive full-time in October 2022 following a few years of consultancy. Alex has delivered small and large-scale systems using various technology stacks and tools in software engineering as well as systems architect and team lead capacity. His passion is to make data-intensive applications to perform and to bring maximum value to our clients. Alex received his B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Saint-Petersburg State University, graduating with honors.

Gergely Tarján
Senior Analytics Engineer
Gergely Tarján joined WorldQuant Predictive in October 2022. He has been working with data for more than 15 years, and has extensive experience in several sectors. He worked in market research as data analyst, in financial (banking, insurance) and telecommunication sector as customer data analyst.
Gergely’s primary goal is to find the business content behind the data and use it to support our clients’ decision making. He is passionate about understanding the business, what’s behind the numbers. Gergely received his degree in Sociology from Pázmány Péter Catholic University. In his spare time he leads sauna infusions as a sauna master.
